The wind is howling & a chill in the air - time for a homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte Syrup Recipe


The wind is howling this morning & there’s a chill in the air.

Life choices? A breakfast of my own recipe Pumpkin Spice Latte from scratch matched with a blue cheese & fresh fig sandwich for the best of summer & fall.

To make the Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup

In a pan bring to a boil & reduce for 5 minutes the following:

- 200ml of water
- 2 spoons of pumpkin puree
- 1 tbs of ground cinnamon
- 1 tbs of ground ginger
- 1/2 tbs of ground cloves
- 1/2 tbs of ground nutmeg
- 50g of sugar

Once reduced, pass through a strainer / coffee filter & you can store the syrup for a few weeks in the fridge.
