Crispy Thai Trout with Honey Tamarind Sauce Recipe



Thai style crispy trout with veggies & honey tamarind sauce

RECIPE

Fresh ginger
Fresh garlic
Red chilli
Spring onion
Red pepper (1/2)
Oyster mushrooms
Rainbow trout
Honey
Tamarind juice
Lime Fish sauce

  1. Deep fry trout for 6 mins per side in shallow pan of oil - remove and put onto kitchen roll to absorb excess oil
  2. Flash fry all the veggies (excluding coriander) for 2 mins in a frying pan
  3. Add honey, tamarind, lime & fish sauce - cook for 1 minute
  4. Pour sauce over fish on a plate - add coriander
Ends up looking like the photo above
