Baked Chicken Thighs In Cream & Cider Sauce

I reworked a classic French recipe made with apple cider for today’s lunch & dinner - so delicious!

  1. Season & fry chicken thighs in pan till golden - and remove
  2. Add & fry chopped onion, chopped apple & one clove chopped garlic
  3. Deglaze pan with apple cider before adding single cream, Dijon mustard, chicken stock & spices of choice (I added one star anise & dried thyme)
  4. Return chicken thighs to pan & cook in oven for 30 mins or so. Job done!
